Maths New Strategy Part 2

This week we had tasks in worksheets so I can't blog it but we had another task which is called create maths task. Information Reports about Bats 

 Introduction 

 Did you know that bats can fly at the speeds of upto 60 MPH.You would have known lots about polar bears and cats but not a lot about bats.Read this information report to learn about Bat’s Physical characteristics,what they eat ,Who their predators are and their habitat. 

 

Bat’s habitat 

 

Bats don’t live in many places. 

 

Bats live in rock crevices, old buildings, bridges, mines, trees and caves.Did you know that they live in the USA. Another fact is that they live in India.They live in bali, Indonesia and philippines too. 

Bats Predators 

 

Bats have a few predators. 

 Did you know that bat’s biggest fear is disease.Another fact is that one of their predators are snakes.Their predators are owls, hawks and wombats. 

 

Bats physical characteristics 

 

Bats have some physical features. 

 Did you know that bats weigh approximately 7 KG.Did you know that their height is approximately 5 M.The largest bats have a wing sean of about 5 feet. 

 Food 

 Bats eat lots of foods. 

 Did you know that bats eat mosquitoes.Another fact is is that they eat rootworm larvae.They also eat beetles,moths,grasshoppers, scorpions ,centipedes, ants, flies and crickets.Did you know that they also eat leafhoppers. 

 

Conclusion. 

Bats are weird and fierceful creatures.They have many physical features, they eat lots of food, they even have predators and they don’t live in many places.

Information Reports About Cats

                     Information Reports About Cats 

 Introduction: Did you know that cats have 250 bones in their body. You would have known a lot about polar bears ( you read it last) but a lot about cats. Read this information report to learn some unusual and interesting facts about cats. 

                                                Food  : 

                      Cats have a different food habits.

Para 1: Cats are allergic to cactus. Another fact is that they eat boiled turkey and salmon. They eat rats, chickens, milk, cooked beef, oatmeal, herring, mackerel, carrots, blueberries, cat food, and bananas. Another fact is that they eat melons. 

                                              Predators 

: Cats have a few predators around the universe. Para 2: Did you know that one of the cat predators are domestic cats. Another fact is that foxes eat cats. Another unusual fact is that owls eat cats. Other predators are bobcats, raccoons, skunks, possums, hawks, eagles, and coyotes. 

                       Habitat  

: Cats live in different places around the world. Para 3: Did you know that cat lives in Brazil. Did you know that they live in Ukraine? They live in France, Italy, China, UK, and India. Another fact is that they live in the USA too. Did you know that they live in Africa? They have 30 teeth and they are carnivores. 

 Physical features: Cats have many Physical features. Para 4: Did you know that cats have 32 muscles on their ears. They have strong and cute paws which helps them to kill their predators. Did you know that they have 2 shoulder blades, sharp teeth, and 2 ribs? 

                     Conclusion 

 Cats are cute and fluffy pets.

They have many physical features, cats lots of food, they even have predators who would be mean to them and they live all around the world. 😃What would you do if you met a different breed of cats?.

My Dance Performance! :)

Today on 11/06/2020 June, I was in shooting for dance to come on the tv on Sunday.

I was very nervous when I first saw the place.

I hope that the performance was amazing.

But I was alright and I managed to end.

We dancelike 1hour 30 minutes and 11 takes. 

We were excited. We dressed up so fancy. It was very fun. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. I met my friends.

Reading This Week!

Hey Readers,

This week we had a new task call KWL which stands for Knowledge, Want and Learned.

We had the usual task. People were so good at it.I just want to share it with you. Here is mine.

 

 

What I think I know:

They live in dark places. 

They are not endangered.

They might live in Australia.

What I want to find out:

Which Country do they live in ?

What are their physical characteristics?

What food do they eat?

What do their babies eat or do in leisure time?

How many babies can they give birth to in one day?

What we have learned:

They are the large, burrowing marsupials in the world.

They have a thick neck.

They have a body that is sturdy with a short tail and short,powerful legs and a blunt shaped face.

Their burrows can be upto 30m long.

They spend half of their life in the burrows.

Their burrow helps protects them from heat, bushfires, cold, rain and predators.

Information Reports About Polar Bears

Last week the teachers said that we need to start planning to write about Information reports about polar bears.This week we need to finish it of this week. Me and friends worked hard to finish it. I liked my information report so that's why I want to share it with you.

Here is my one.

Introduction Did you know that polar bears eat bird eggs? You would have known about sea creatures but not a lot about polar bears. Read this information report to learn lots about polar bear’s physical characteristics, their habitat, where they live, who their predators are, and what they eat.

                                            Physical Characteristics

 Para 1:Polar bears have a layer of guard hair and a layer of fat to keep them warm. They weigh approximately 1760 LB. They have a long flexible neck. Their front paws are approximately 12 inches high and 4 inches long, this helps them to catch their prey and get the grip to go in the ice. Their height is approximately 8ft tall. They have a narrow skull and transparent fur. They are excellent swimmers but not like whales.

                                                  Predators 

 Para 2: Polar bears have quite a few predators. Polar bears predators are sharks and gorillas. Did you know that polar bear’s biggest fear is humans? Another fact is that male polar bears eat cubs(Small polar bears). Polar bears other predators are bears and wolves. 

                                               

                                                 Habitat 

 Para 3: Polar bears live in different places. Did you know that polar bears are marine mammals? They live in cold places. Polar bears live in the Arctic ocean, Norway, Northpole, Canada, Greenland and Antarctica. Did you know that they also, live in Russia. Another fact is that They have 42 teeth. They dig dens in a slippery sloppy ground which is covered with ice. They are carnivores which means they eat meat. Did you know that in winter and spring the sun does not rise at all?

                                                    Food 

 Para 4: Polar bears have a different food habit. Did you know that polar bears eat meat like fish? Polar bears eat cubs, creamy milk, and young seabirds. Another fact is that they hunt for food at night. Polar bears even eat small sharks and whales.

 

                                              Conclusion 

 Polar bears are a cute and a fluffy creature. They have many physical features, eat a range of different animals and even foods, they even have a few predators who would kill and eat them. What would you do if it was nice to you?I would cuddle it.

This week was interesting and guess what one of the book choices is Rangoli which is based on the country India. We had some interesting tasks to finish, but we only had 2-3 days to complete it. We had create a task, information web, and keyword hunt. It is not as easy as we say we need to work hard and concentrate. The create task looks like this.
