SLJ (Summer Learning Journey) Activity

 Hey People,

This week we have been doing some summer learning journey teasers. Our task was to read the article and watch the video and recognise what they are doing. In the video they did some action but not talk. Our create task was to create a comic about what they would have talked if they have talked and to  explain what was going on and then blog it. Here is mine. Stay up for some more blog posts like this. :)

  1. Kia Ora Joshvaa,

My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

What a great comic strip! You’ve done an incredible job, matching the facial expressions of the men in the pictures to the captions as well as telling a convincing story that works with the images. Ka pai!

The man must be really bad at keeping track of his dentures if Janet has to keep a spare pair available for him. I’m like that with lip balm, I can never seem to remember where I’ve left it so it’s always good to carry a spare. Do you carry spares of anything?

Because you’ve written a great comic strip, I was wondering, if you could write a comic on absolutely anything, what would you write about? I think I’d write about space adventures and rocket ships, not fishy teeth, though it is pretty funny.

Good job on starting the Summer Learning Journey, I look forward to seeing all your future blog posts! What activities are you most excited for?

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)

  2. Hi Shannon,
    Thanks.
I keep a spare of a few things like crunchies and etc.
I would make a comic on some adventurous stories because that will be an interesting one to read you know. I think maybe creating some useful thing.
What activities you are excited after ?

    Have a wonderful holiday,
    Joshvaa

  3. Hi Joshvaa,

Spare crunchies? That's an idea I can get behind. They're the best chocolate I think! Are they your favourites too?

I'm excited for the art activities. I really like seeing what everyone does for these and the pictures they draw, create, or pose for! I think it's awesome how creative everyone is!

Bye for now and have a wonderful day!

    Shannon (SLJ)
