Less Reading This Week !!!!!

 This week we did not do many tasks to because on Monday it was public holiday and Wednesday it was our athletics day and I qualified for the zones. This week our reading tasks was to find 10 facts from the book and then the second one you can find facts from online and do it by your own. No WALT this week.

When a great white bites its prey, its eyes roll back into its head.

This protects its eyes.


3. The fastest shark is the Mako shark.

The Mako is the fastest shark. It can swim over 32 km per hour.

Makos leap clear out of the water to catch prey.


4. The smallest are the spined pygmy shark.

The spined pygmy shark is about 20 cm long. It has a glow in the dark belly.


5. Sharks babies are called pups.


6. There are about 375 different species. 


7. Different sharks have different teeths.

There are approximately 4 different types of teeths.


8. The highest record for the longest teeth is 15 centimeters.


9. The megalodon shark is one of the prehistoric sharks.


10. Remoras hang around with the sharks and eat their leftovers.
